A ghost story
When the ship “Amaryllis” was swallowed in a brutal hurricane, the captain and the entire crew were dragged down to the ocean's black depths without a trace. Thirty years later, the captain’s widow, Geneva Reed— nearly driven mad with her loss — is certain that her husband will return. And so, faithfully she waits for him to send her messages from the bottom of the sea.
But someone else is waiting too, and watching her: A spirit name Seward, who walks the desolate wind-driven beaches, returning any wreckage of the Amaryllis back into the sea.
The arrival of Jenny, the widow's young granddaughter, sets into motion a long-awaited haunting — a perilous game for all those who dare disturb the watery tomb of the cursed Amaryllis. The Eyes of the Amaryllis is a tale of tragic loss, madness, and ultimately, everlasting love.

A coming of age story — with a serious twist!
Ryan wants just one thing: to be a working cowboy on the large ranch in Wyoming, where he and his family live.
But Ryan's older brother, Gil, wants something very different — and far more dangerous. He belongs to a local militia group called the Mountain Patriots Association. Gil and the Patriots are convinced that the United States government, foreign immigrants, and racial minorities are going to take over his country.
But not without a fight: the Mountain Patriots are armed for battle, with confrontation and disaster on the way. Ryan does not plan to be in the middle of it when it comes, but that is where he finds himself. And that is where, as a consequence, he learns what it means to show true courage, be independent and find his place in a rapidly changing world.
